We are thrilled to welcome such a recognised, community-friendly establishment to our club for the first time. We look

Netball Injuries - What does the insurance portion of registration fees cover?

For your information: If you are not in a private health fund & you have a netball injury during the competition, the insurance under BHSNA registration only covers ancillary care. eg. physio etc. To repair the initial injury, if necessary (eg. orthopedic surgery), you are only covered up to the Medicare rebate.

Injury forms can be collected from the BHSNA office during their normal business hours & will need to be signed by a club representative.

Code of Conduct for all GNC Players, Coaches, Managers & Spectators

It is timely to remember, at all times, that the majority of us, both senior & junior players, play netball socially, for a little exercise & enjoyment. This is especially the case at club level. The majority of players, in our our club, have never, & will never, play netball at the highest level. That being said, all players & spectators should keep this social mindset at the forefront of their thoughts when stepping onto the court each Saturday.

While most of us enjoy a certain level of “healthy” competition, we should never, under any circumstances, allow this competitiveness to escalate further to the detriment of Glenwood Netball Club, your team & most importantly, yourself. When you wear a Glenwood Netball Club uniform, you are a representative of our club &, as such, should behave in a manner that upholds the good reputation our club has strived so hard to achieve. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS IT ACCEPTABLE TO NOT ABIDE BY THE CODES OF CONDUCT as a player, a coach, a manager or a spectator. Any infringement of these rules will be harshly dealt with by GNC &/or BHSNA.

As ambassadors of our club, the GNC committee expects that you will have a high level of respect for yourself, all officials, opposing clubs & most importantly, fellow club members. Once in the Glenwood Netball uniform, you are role-models for all other players, particularly our younger ones. Our senior players, especially, should remember this when children are on the sideline of your games & are witness to all that you portray.

The committee of this wonderful family-friendly club, appeals to all our players, coaches, managers, parents & spectators to encourage positive behaviours & club unity at all times. We ask that you reacquaint yourselves with the Netball NSW Codes of Behaviour Policy, which can be found on the Downloads page, & always represent Glenwood Netball Club with the highest level of dignity & respect to others. At all times, conduct yourself on court in a positive sportsmanlike manner.

BHSNA Gardens & Rubbish

On behalf of BHSNA, GNC would like to remind all our members that children are not allowed in the gardens at BHSNA’s complex. BHSNA has advised that the gardens are unsafe, especially since the commencement of their refurbishment. To avoid any injuries please adhere to this request. Also, could you please make sure that any rubbish is placed in the rubbish bins provided & not left on the grounds. Thank you.
